Happy New Year......................
Well another year starts with some fantastic events and ride outs for 2012 so keep yours eyes peeled on the Events page in the next few weeks with the new updates.
New for 2012 on the Rother website will be a new gallery page opening up for our members. So for any of you Rother members out there (new and old) please email me a photo of yourselves next to your prized machine and I'll make sure it gets put up on the new gallery.
For anyone that still not sure how to use email, just bring along the photo on a Wednesday night to the Robin Hood and I will do the rest.

July 2011 - Rabbit Rally
On the 8th - 10th of July the Rother Rabbit Rally was a great weekend thanks to all that came for a fun packed time. Many thanks to Tangled Web and Classix for filling the evenings with rocking good music.

March 2011 - Bowling + Emma's Race for Life
On the 22nd March The Rother Branch had a fun night out at the Ravenside Bowling club in a tournament to take back the cup from The Harley Owners but in a fight to the end we lost on just a few points.

On the 5th of June this year club member Emma will be running in the Race for Life to raise money for cancer research, please support her by following this link and donating what you can to help her reach her target - race for life sponsor

February 2011 - MCN Show @ Excel
On the 5th Feb about 30 Rother members & some family attended the MCN bike show at the Excel in London.
Definitely a lot of interest on the Triumph range especially the new Tiger 800 & Thunderbird Storm.
The Indoor Revolution show featured the likes of John McGuiness, Kevin Schwantz, Randy Mamola & Freddy Spencer competing in time trial events and even had a guest appearance from Charley Boorman on his BMW.
The Fuel Girls were a great hit with their skimpy outfits giving Nod an eyeful and Airbrush Andy also wanted to have a go getting an angle grinder to a guitar (preferably not his own)
Many thanks to Sue and Carly at the Robin for the fish ‘n’ chips dinner at the end of the day, thumbs up all round for a great day out.

It's only a few weeks into the new year and event dates have been flooding in for this year so we should have plenty of photos appearing in the gallery very soon.

October 6th 2010 - R.I.P Herbie
Herbie past away on wednesday the 6th october. He will be fondly remembered by many of us as a hard drinking, hard riding,
fun loving, hell raiser who behaved more like a teenager than o a p that he was, he will be sadly missed by all those that knew him.

July 2010 - Rabbit Rally
The weather was perfect, the bands were a rockin', the beer was flowing and the company was fantastic.
A great weekend for all those who attended the Rally and a good job well done to all who helped out.

February 2010 - Airbrush Andy's guitar wins Fanmail

Airbrush Andy's knuckleduster guitar made & designed by himself and Sims Custom Shop wins Fanmail prize in Streetfighters Mag, Muc-off cleaning kit worth £34.
Unfortunately for Andy the nice lady is not part of the prize and he will have to clean his bike with his own pants.

If you are already signed up on Facebook please login and have a look, you can even upload your photos of the Rother events and ride outs. If you have pictures of your bike or even your girlfriend yep they will do!!

November 2009 - Bonneville story
Dear Triumph Enthusiasts,

In the 3 months of promotional activities since the launch of my book "Save the Triumph Bonneville! The Inside Story of the Meriden Workers' Co-op", sales in the UK have exceeded all expectations. November 2009 - JS Gedge Auction
Hi all,

Its nearing Christmas and everybody wants a bargain. Well this year we are offering the perfect opportunity to grab one! We are holding an auction At the triumph Pevensey bay showroom. We will also be offering an onsite bar.
Items will range from standard exhausts to gel seats and clothing for all different triumph models and maybe even a couple of bikes

The starting price on the list is an estimate and may go down on the night

March 2009 - Kent & East Sussex Railway
Had a note from Paul at the Kent & Sussex Railway -

"Hi,

I am currently looking for exhibits to attend a small gathering at Northiam station, as part of the Kent & East Sussex Railway’s “Last train’s gone” event. The event takes place on the May day weekend (2nd/3rd/4th May) and I wondered if anybody with a historic bike within the Rother Triumph owners club may be interested in attending (1960’s or older vehicles to fit the theme of the event).

What a cracker!
What a surprise we have for you this month. We have just been contacted by John who wrote this -

"Hi, I have a t595 That I raced when they first come out. I never sold it because I won the New Era Motorcycle Racing Club, Twins and triple championship in 1999 and I do believe that makes it the 1st Hinckley Triumph, championship winning bike. I have just about finished putting it back together looking as near as I can to how it looked 10 years ago. Attached is a picture of it now, I will send you some pictures when its finished. It may be of some interest to your members. By the way I live quite local

Feb 2009 - Victory is ours.
During February we held a Bowling Tournament at Ravenside, Bexhill against the Harley Davidson Riders club (region 18 sussex coasters), great night & great turnout from both teams, glad to say the Rother TOMCC took the trophy at the end of the night.
Photo of the trophy coming soon (if we can prize it from brother Rodders grasp).

Jan 2009 - welcomes new website to the Rother Branch.
Over the next few months there will be changes happening to this site by ways of updating photos, reports & keeping everybody upto date with the Club etc. and hopefully very soon we will have our very own guestbook and For Sale page!
