Hi Folks. Firstly its our branch`s AGM at the Robin Hood on 18th November at 8.00pm. I would have reported sooner but the date did not get decided until the 7th October on the night of the meal at Azurs, and that was another successful evening, a good club turnout with twenty of us in attendance, thanks Rod for that one. It was on that night I found out we have another two new members, after a long time being associated with our club, French Pete has finally joined us and what about this for commitment then, Debbie has joined BSA Matt and signed up for the five year membership of our Club, well done.
I forgot to report last time two of our Rotherlites Airbrush Andy and Hedgehog Dave represented our branch at the Concorde Rally in Bristol on 25th September. Andy said they had a very enjoyable weekend and plans to do it again next year.
Our Branch now has a new Hotshot, El Presidente Miguel Bikey was the clear winner of the sweep stake at the Clay pigeon shoot
held on the 18th October, it was a much improved performance from all that took part, the all being Rod, Ed, BSA Matt, Clive, Jim, Matt, Brian, Eric, Andy S and of course the master El Presidente. Afterwards they retired for lunch in the White Hart Newenden.
well done Bob for organising. Bob was in attendance but was unable to take part due to suffering badly with a trapped nerve
in his back and had they given him a gun would have probably tried to put himself out of his misery, I do hope you have got it sorted by now mate cos we are well over due a trip down the Dripping Spring where its been reported they have been selling some fine beers from the Dark Star Brewery.
Some of our branch plan to go up to the NEC for the Bike Show 27th Nov-6th Dec to check out the new bikes on display.
Good to see we are getting a good turn out of members on our club nights at the Robin Hood, this year has seen a good increase
in active members in the branch,
Another reminder about our Xmas Meal at the Robin Hood on 11th December.
Dont forget you can keep up to date with whats going on by visiting our branch web site www.rothertriumphmcc.co.uk
Well thats about it for this one, ride safe.
