Branch Report
July 2019
(as seen in Nacelle)

Hi Folks,
Saturday 4th May Chris had 13 on the breakfast run to Heaven Farm.

Monday 6th was the annual May Day run when thousands of bikers decend on Hastings. 20+ of us after looking around the bikes in the morning decended on The White Rock Hotel for an afternoon session. Good to see ex Rotherite Kevin & Sue, looking forward to seeing you both at The Rabbit Rally 12th/13th/14th July.

Wednesday 8th we had a good turnout for our quarterly meeting at The Robin Hood. One item discussed was the launch of the Rother Chase the Windmill Challenge. Currently Em and Mike L are the ones the rest of us need the chase as they have been very busy. Well done Bob & Dave for coming up with the idea. Check our website for details.

Sunday 12th, 6 of us were on the breakfast run to The End of the Line Cafe in Dungeness.

Our British Bike Night Wdenesday 15th was another successful one with nearly 60 bikes and a good bit was raised for our chosen charity St John Ambulance who came complete with the ambulance and gave a demonstration in the car park. Thank you Debbie, Mandy & Ross for providing the refreshments, much appreciated.

At the quiz and pie night our 3 teams came a respectable equal 1st, 3rd and 4th out of 8, well done.
That weekend several Rotherites had an excellent time at the MCN Festival of Motorcycling.

Wednesday 26th June, club night ride out leaving Esso garage 7pm for the Halfway House, Brenchley. T.A.B.R.T.T

Wednesday 2nd July Rally meeting at The Robin Hood 8pm.
