Branch Report
June 2011
(as seen in Nacelle)

Hi Folks,
Firstly on behalf of the branch i want to send our best wishes to our French liaison officer Pete who was knocked off his bike back in March, we hope you are soon on the mend mate.
Congratulations to Two bonnies Chris on picking up first prize for his older one at the South of England Real Classic Show on 20th March, and i wish i could congratulate us Rotherlities for beating the Harley lot at ten pin bowling on the 22 March, after it was announced it was a tie. We had to have a bowl off between the two top scorers from each team, it went down to the last bowl and the Harley chap (who coincidentally was playing on our team to help out with numbers) won so technically we won, but we are not sore losers, Well done Clive for giving his all in the bowl off, all good fun.
We had our first club night ride out of the season on 6th April, with Clive leading Airbrush Andy, Andy S, Bob, Matt, Rod, Roger and myself over to the Woolpack at Brookland via Hawkhurst, Sissinghurst,Tenterden and Rye. Two days later over twenty of us enjoyed a Fish`n Chips supper at the Robin Hood, then later in the month on 23rd to celebrate St Georges Day we were back at the Robin for
their Medieval night, eat as much as you can and we did, another very enjoyable evening, thank you Rodders for organizing both occasions.
On 2nd May Eric, Brian the Badger, Rodders were off with Garlands Motorcycles on their annual trip over to France touring round various parts including going across the Millau Bridge over the river Tarn, sounds like an unbelievable trip, i can`t wait to hear all about it.
Also of course on the 2nd of May with it being the May Day Bank Holiday us that live in hastings were expecting to be invaded by up to 20,000 Bikers for the annual May day run from Locksbottom to Hastings, lets hope the weather was kind and we have a good turn out.
On 1st June its the Fish`n chip run meeting at Johns Cross 7.30pm, reminder RABBIT RALLY 8th/10th July.
Thats it for this one.
Ride it safe.
