Hi Folks,
Friday 13th April it was curry & quiz night at The East Angling Club. We had 3 teams representing Rother. Out of 15 teams we managed 8th, 5th and 3rd. Great evening, well done Rod for organising it.
Sunday 15th there was 9 of us for the breakfast run to Happy Days cafe on the A22 near Chiddingly. We went via Normans Bay, Eastbourne and over Beachy Head (not literally though).
Tuesday 17th, 9 of us went up to the National Motorcycle Museum near Meriden, very interesting, we stayed the night in Nuneaton and we were joined in the evening by Bob, Jim and Graham who travelled up after work. The next day we went to the Triumph factory where we met up with Julian for a superbly led tour by Roy Shilling. Well worth a visit if you get the chance. Thank you Howard for organising the trip.
Sunday 22nd, 35 of us watched the film Road, all about the Dunlop dynasty in the Electric Palace cinema Hastings Old Town. Thank you to Mandy for an excellent buffet and Sue for making those lovely sausage rolls.
Wednesday 25th our first club night run of the season was well attended with 14 of us riding over to Lydd cemetery where we met Jim and Herbie's brother George before going down to the Pilot in Dungeness for some very tasty fish & chips.
Wednesday 23rd May, long way round to The Robin Hood, leaving Esso garage 7pm.
Wednesday 30th May, club night run to Blackboys, leaving Esso garage 7pm.
Rabbit Rally 13th/15th July.
