Branch Report
November 2017
(as seen in Nacelle)

Wednesday 6th September we had our second British Bike Night of the year. I am pleased to report the weather turns out in our favour which resulted in a good number of bikes turning up. Good to see the local Blood Runners (SERV) in attendants, who are our chosen charity this year. They were very greatful with the healthy collection that was made on the night. It was also goo to see the 3 Medway members come down to visit us, although most orthers had gone by the time they had arrived and the BBQ had finished, it was good of Sue from The Robin Hood to rustle up some burgers for them from the kitchen, they were most greatful.Thank you Debbie and Mandy for doing the teas and coffees, Sue and Lizzy for doing the BBQ. If we were giving a trophy for the furthest distance bikers it would have gone to the 3 Germans who called in on-route to their visit to the Ace Cafe the next day.

Sunday 17th Chris led 5 the very long way round to the Oasis Cafe in Old Romney, including new member Phil on his new Bonnie.

Saturday 30th there were 2 new members Graham and John on the breakfast run again led by Chris to Headcorn Aerodrome.

Rother AGM - Wednesday 8th November 8pm, Robin Hood.

Rother Xmas meal, Friday 8th December, Robin Hood (contact Rod to book your place).
