Branch Report
October 2011
(as seen in Nacelle)

Hi Folks, On the 3rd August we had our monthly club night run out, this time it was a mistery run. They ended up at the White Hart at Newenden, and it did not rain.
I was rather busy that week getting ready for Mandy and my 5th wedding anniverssary party combined with my brother inlaws 50th birthday on 6th August, everyone seemed to have a good time. It was a lot of work to organise but with helpfrom our friends and some good ale it was an excellent evening.
on 10th we had a meeting at the Old Courthouse in Westfield, the main topic being our very successful Rabbit Rally. It was decided that the profit from the rally raffle would be given to a charity, and with many of our members as they say are getting on a bit, Help the Aged was the chosen one. It was decide that Rod's boat fund was not a registered charity.
Two days later at The Robin Hood Sue done us a good deal and 28 of us enjoyed a lovely evening with good company and good food (and one or two ales). Well done Rod for arranging that one. Our xmas dinner has been booked for Friday 9th December at The Robin Hood so put it in your diary, Rod will be taking numbers at a later date.
Steve Purple Princess Carey celebrated his 50th birthday on 27th August with a party, once again it was the pig that was the only one that did not enjoy himself, a good time was had by all. BSA Matt was determined not to leave until the barrel of Brakespears had run dry, which it did by 3am. Eric could not wait that long so finished up Mr Jamerson instead, well not up Mr J's, I mean emptied the bottle, no change there then, It was another good Rother turnout to help Steve celebrate.
Clive and Roger were to be making their annual pilgrimage and fly the Rother flag at the IOW Rally on 2nd/4th Sept.
Eric and Mike planned to visit Beaulieu on 10th/11th Sept for the International Autojumble, Roger was to be attending Goodwood for the revival, Rod and Jayne too.
Airbrush Andy, Bob, Hedghog Dave and Mike are attending the Concorde Rally with the Bristol branch 23rd/25th Sept.
Rodis trying to arrange some ten pin bowling practice (cos we do need it) towards the end of Sept.
